There has only been one major nuclear disaster at a plant, that was the tragic Fukushima disaster. This was an anomaly that was caused by both an earthquake and a tsunami hitting the plant at a bad time. No major health issues were caused by the disaster and the plant is already back up and running with new safety measures. The truth is that Nuclear power is safe, efficient, cheap, and good for the environment. If anything the left should be the biggest supporters of Nuclear power.
